Why is identity so important?
Identity is the foundation of world-class customer experiences. Without a solid identity model, brands are unable to meaningfully engage with their customers in a contextual, personalized way. In order to go beyond sending generic batch and blast messages, companies must build from the foundation. That starts with identity.

Will IdentityQA keep my organization's data safe?
As the application provider, Simon Data provides the code to be run in the end user’s Snowflake instance without gaining access to any of the data on which the code runs.
What do I need to get started with IdentityQA?
Your organization's identity data must already exist in Snowflake. You must also have one identity table with a stable identifier. Lastly, you must be a Snowflake Account Admin or get temporary Account Admin access.
What is a stable identifier?
A stable identifier is an email address or something like a customer_id that’s generated by your internal systems or other tools. It’s the primary key for customer profiles and is used to tie all of a customer’s disparate identifiers together. It’s unique, 1:1 with a single profile, and cannot be shared across profiles. A stable identifier is the best and easiest way to anchor a customer profile and see a clear picture of where they belong.
Can IdentityQA build an identity model?
This app does not build an identity model. Rather, it requires the user to indicate a pre-built identity model and assumptions to validate. With these, the app creates a Snowflake table and a QA dashboard which allow the user to see if their assumptions hold true. This app can be thought of as an identity “sandbox”, and the user can use the output to inform any changes that should be made to the existing identity model.
